A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the independent provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those search entries. If you contact us, we receive the contents of that message and use them to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting services maintain normal server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We use aggregate information to operate and improve the service. Cookies and similar tools may be used for basic analytics or, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Information supports site operations, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and content improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or build individual visitor profiles.
External Services and Links
Links may lead to Westchester or New York records portals, archives, library collections, or independent search tools. Each destination controls data submitted there under its own privacy policy. That includes sponsored search results provided by a third party.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers process the server-log information for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose information only when valid legal process requires disclosure.
Security Practices
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. Because there are no accounts, no visitor password or profile is maintained by this service. New York General Business Law section 899-bb, the SHIELD Act safeguard provision, addresses reasonable data-security safeguards for covered private information.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If you think a minor has sent information to us, contact us so it can be removed.
Choices About Your Data
Depending on where you live, laws may provide rights to seek access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data held by a service. Because we keep very little, a request usually concerns contact-mailbox material or server logs. Use the Contact page to make a request. Government records held by New York, Westchester County, or Eastchester are outside our control, and requests about those records must go to the appropriate custodian.
